Where art thou, where art thou, spring?
Been waiting so long, oh what flowers will thou bring?
Hopeful, and finally feel it in the air.
When the rain falls, I doth know it's almost there.
Where art thou, where art thou, spring?
Birds are migrating home, ready to sing.
First it's mud, then it's green.
The season I've been waiting for has yet been seen.
Tired of the winter, for the cold is ever bitter.
Where art thou, where art thou spring?
The past is gone, ready to clean.
Throw away the baggage, dirty & mean.
Where art thou, where art thou spring?
I doth await thee, my heart sings in glee.
Is it my prince, come at last in thee?
I trust in YHWH &  must never my heart
Praying on His will, & ready for a new start.
Where art thou, where art thou, spring?
Recovery on it's way, no longer will it sting.
Love waits ever so patiently & understands
Thy help mate, both we in His hands.
Where art thou, where art thou, spring?
New life, death no longer a thing.
When it's warm and the sun doth shine.
Freely outside & closer to the One I call mine.
Where art thou, where art thou spring?
In the presence of my King.
Passover awaits & the season of renewal.
YHWH is ever gracious, the fire refueled.
Breakthrough awaits, breathing in the freshness.
Seasons of new life, ever precious.
So, where art thou, where art thou spring?
Some literal, some metaphorical. It was going to originally be a funny poem, but it turned out to be much less so.
